A home elevator in your house

A home elevator makes your entire home easily accessible, both now and in the future. This helps you stay prepared for changing mobility needs and allows you to continue living comfortably in your own home. Our home elevators can transport you between floors up to a height of twenty metres. In addition to carrying people, you can also use a house elevator lift to move everyday items such as groceries or laundry between floors. This adds comfort, convenience and freedom of movement, while also increasing the value of your property.

Can a home elevator fit in my house?

Would you like to install a home elevator in your house? In many cases, this is possible, even in existing homes. We help you determine the ideal location and provide a tailored solution, whether it involves a simple floor opening or a home elevator with multiple stops.

Do you already have an idea where you would like to place your elevator? Our smallest model, the Home Lift A-4000, can be installed from approximately 1 m². For a wheelchair-accessible home elevator, more space is required.

How do I know if my home is suitable for a home elevator?

Many people assume that a home elevator is only possible in large houses. In reality, a compact home elevator can often be installed from as little as 1 m² of floor space. Do you already have a location in mind? Our smallest model, the Home Lift A-4000, requires minimal space and is therefore suitable for many existing homes. Would you like to use the elevator with a wheelchair? In that case, more space is required, but this can often be accommodated within the existing layout.

Checklist: what does your home need for a home elevator?

  • At least 1 m² of available space (for example in a hallway, corridor or living room)
  • Floors are positioned above or close to each other
  • A solid floor structure (concrete is usually suitable; wooden floors may also be possible if properly constructed)
  • You own the property or have permission (for apartments, approval from the homeowners’ association or landlord is required)

Safety requirements and escape routes

According to current regulations, a home elevator cannot replace a fixed staircase. A proper escape route must always remain available. This can be a standard staircase, a more compact staircase or an alternative access route, depending on the situation. During the design and installation of a home elevator, these requirements are always carefully considered. Together, we assess the layout and structural characteristics of your home to ensure the solution is not only comfortable, but also fully compliant with regulations.
